Thanks to this channel i finally know about Morphy and wonder why at the time i was introduced into chess that i only learned about Fischer and Capablanca. From what I've seen i consider Morphy to be the best all time followed by Fischer and Capa.

When I as an nine year old started playing chess in my local chess club, I got a 60 year old chess book from an antiquarian, with a couple of hundred of Morphy’s games. I studied every game in and out and this has really influenced me as a player, even today 40 years later. Although theory has long caught up, this is still my favourite player of all times. I really appreciate that people can enjoy this old master.
