7:36, wouldn't Qxh6 also work? It threatens checkmate. If Rh7, simply capture the bishop, might be counterplay with Ng4+, Kg1, but should still be good for white. If Rf6, then Bxf6, Qxf6, Qxh5 and you're up a rook.

How would Lagrave be up a piece after ... Qg6+, Rg7 Qxh5? Black still has a minor piece on a3, so they each have one minor piece. Look to me that if you're going for a line like that, White might was well pick up the h-pawn first. Qxh6 threatens Qh8#. The best response I think is Rh7 and only then you play Qg6+ and Qxh5 or Qxa3.
